Yesterday or Tomorrow?

I talked to a old friend yesterday. He was a big football star in high school..the bad part is that all he ever does is play that remember when game. Ever since high school nothing has ever compared to his time on the football team. Too many people live in the past..NOT ME..the most important day in my life is the same as it's always been..TOMORROW.. So you won't see me looking back..I'm going on and i figure i have somewhere close to 31,000 tomorrow's to look forward to.

Love only on Valentine's Day?

To Love is the only thing that separates humans from other mammals. If the soul is to be found it will be in the part of our brain that feels the pleasure that only love can bring. To give love is as good as receiving love. It is the only gift that the more we give , the more we receive. Valentine's day is supposed to be the day for love. Spread it out across the year and we become happier than we knew was possible.

. i read a post made about specifics in politics and diversity in religion. i too have read all religions i know of . i don't trust any politicians .lying is the nature of the game. as for all of the religions. the one common factor is Love. love each other. i find it hard to believe God is vengeful .instead i think maybe we are all connected and to love those we disagree with is the key..even Jesus spoke only of love. those that came after him twisted his message into a thing that he wouldn't recognise. love yourself and love living and love everything in your life..its too simple for churches to make money on so they changed it to some unnatural form of a God that will crush us if we don't live by the rules churches have made. they are mortal men like us..how can they know what is best for us. and how did the message of love happen in every religion i have ever read about..it isn't like i only read about one religion or even ten religions..i have read as many as i could find..peace and love to you and yours my friend.

When asked whether it is more important to be loved or to love. A Native American Shaman replied. Which is more important to a bird. His right wing or his left wing? I am not sure who actually wrote this but I so know that I stole it. So whoever wrote it. I give you your credit.

Children of the Sixties

Our government takes away freedoms right and left. Google and Facebook tracks our every move. We have become a nation of sheep. What happened to the roar of the voices of the children of the 60's? Why didn't we pass his roar onto our children? Women like Gloria Steinem have to be disappointed with how teen girls act these days. Why has our roar, a roar that stopped a war and changed our society turned into a whimper?
