Positive Ripples

If you throw a pebble in a pond, the force with which you throw it and the size of the rock create ripples. The ripples are a force of energy. Those energy ripples create a life of thier own. Our thoughts and actions are the same way. You are the rock. The energy ripples from your thoughts and actions, and love take on a life of their own also. If your thoughts are happy, carefree, or love , whatever words you use for positivity, then the energy creates more positive waves that spread to a life of their own and it passes to whatever or whomever it touches. Our world needs a reboot. Make sure your positivity shines. If we are to be the energy that reboots our universe let it be for love that we live instead of things.. Paul E.Dunkle 11-05-2018

Life and Children

I heard a friend ealier who was complaining about the younger people. They tell me how "they know nothing" and " "what's this world coming to " conversations that I used to hear when I was young. No one seems to place the blame where it belongs. No one says .."you need a license to drive a car, you need a license to get married." However anyone..and I mean anyone, can be a biological parent. Grownups and I use that term lightly ..always say. "I want my kids to have more than I did" That statement itself should push you out of being a parent. . Instead of giving your kids more than you had...INSTEAD Give your children what you DID have..love, respect, and honor. Also instead of looking at the twenty somethings like they know nothing..look at them for what they are. Smart, ambitious you folks who want to change our wasteful ways and care about others. They are into charities, non-profit organizations and things important to life on this planet. Much like the youth of the late 60's..the ones who finally gave in and worked for the people they didn't trust. Too bad the baby boomers and the twixts or the tweens or whatever you want to label them do not get together and actually talk to each other. Their youth and the experience of the 55 plus crowd, we could actually all live up to what we wanted in the 60's and the others in the mid two thousands and actually change this world for the better. .so young people talk to your older friends and family about this and older people, don't judge them as stupid instead shut the fuck up and listen. They are a lot like we were ...about a hundred years ago...but that doesn't go away does it?. I surely hope not..

After ten years of not riding motorcycles I've gone back to that way of life. I don't consider myself a biker or a bad ass ..I'm just a man. I didn't ride when my children were younger and at home because I didn't want to leave my wife as a single mom. I raised my children and did the things that are normally expected of stay at home moms. I did the laundry the cooking ..I got the kids off to school and loved my children ..I felt like a slave to them at times. I was a taxi service when they hit the years where they were in band and baseball. I taught my daughter and son to cook and my son and daughter both how to grow food, raise animals, collect eggs from our chickens and to survive. I won't be leaving them a million dollars as a inheritance instead i taught them to survive on their owb and gave them love and understanding and I taught them right from wrong,not societies right and wrong but the right and wrong of their own souls. I taught them that if they cannot accept who they are and if they cannot look into the mirror at the end of the day and like what they see then they are doing it wrong. As every parent I did things wrong and I did things right. I love my children and will die to protect them but they won't ever expect that of me. Back to the point. Nearing the end of a really great life I am happy with what things are and live each day at a time. I am riding my Harley's again and plan on trips that have no real destination . I ride because I am a free man that believes that the personal freedom of the open road is more important than making sure the taxes are paid. I love ...I live and I ride. At the same time I will not give up my personal integrity for anything.. the road calls and the age I am at will it will be one mile at a time. No one owns me and no one controls me. In retrospect I look back and think I wouldn't do anything differently because if I did ,I wouldn't be the man I am now and right now in this space and time. I like me. I wish this for everyone. Know the freedom of walking and the wisdom to know when it is time to stay..but do both free of outside influences. Automonous is the way I describe my life and when my time to die comes.I will meet it happily and my esssence will explode into the universe with the beauty I've seen in this lifetime. . Older but wiser happy and sad and grateful for the light of life that burns stronger every day. I wish that for everyone ..be happy this is a great worls.. as I've said many times. ."ain't life grand?"

Positive Thoughts

If you watch the news on television or listen on the radio, or social media for what is going on in the world, you will see a picture of a very scary and unwelcoming place. This world is filled with violence, poverty, dishonesty, and sadness. You can see it everywhere you look - if that's what you are looking for, you will find it. However, if you look for the good in this world, you will find that too and you will find it in abundance. If you've found yourself in a bad state of mind lately , change your thoughts to good things. you can to change your world, just don't linger in the darkness. There is too much light to waste your life on the dark side of this world...be happy everyone. .it isn't that hard.

Living in the Right Now

Worrying about the future is like trying to solve a mathematical equation by chewing gum. The things that end up being our worst problems are things we never worried about anyway. I for one do not plan my hours or days or years. I fly by the seat of my pants .I take each thing as it comes to me and handle it. I agree it isn't for everyone but it is what works for me..the thing is that by living like this is great because at this moment this is this most important time in my life and it is like that all of the time ..I haven't written for awhile but I have enjoyed the time away..now I'm back and I promise to rattle like a old chain.

interpretations

interpretations are a funny thing..it is up to each individual and how they feel at the time to interpret any given thing. some organized Christian groups wear the same clothes as atheists because they twist a message of a loving God into something to fear so you will need their organization and its money making business form of Christianity to get to heaven...keyword there is SOME.this will offend some Christian folks and some atheists. If it does? i have a big oh well section..and atheism is almost a oxymoron because if you believe in anything including yourself .by definitiyou are not a atheist.

Mother's Day

Some people believe men rule this old world. We both know God is in charge of that but  God had the wisdom to create Mothers to help him with this task of keeping men on the right path.. I've seen a lot of things I wish I hadn't in this life but I persevered because of my Mother. I saw men die and their last thought was always of their Mothers. I lived through some things I may not have because I had you. I think in Gods wisdom he created a Mother so that they would keep men in check. So it is the woman that rules this world and holds a special place in Gods kingdom. I am grateful that he gave me to you. The hand of patience to a impulsive son must have been hard. To be between your husband and son who butted heads because they were exactly the same type of person was even tougher I know. I learned love and respect because of the way you walked that line and gently guided me to be the man I've become. For that I will be eternally grateful. I want you to know I love you and wish you the peace of the blessed position that God has placed you ..the most important job in the universe is to be a Mother and you have done outstanding at that responsibility.. I love you...have a happy Mother's day.
